• A Master’s degree or equivalent in geophysics or geology
• Experience in the Oil and Gas Industry
• Proven ability to incorporate log, core, petrophysical, seismic, production and other data to evaluate well results, assist in planning new well locations and assess further play potential
• Strong prospecting skills with the ability to integrate subsurface (well) information into interpretations with use of cross-sections, maps, seismic displays, visualization techniques, fault mapping, etc
• Proficient in 2D and 3D workstation interpretation (Paradigm), with proven modelling experience using Gocad software.
• Must be eligible to work in the UK.

He would lead drilling engineers to design HPHT gas development well and prepare drilling procedure and AFE packages, discusses drilling procedures with other parties such as geologists, and service companies, ensure that drilling procedures reflect the latest technology for cost control and productivities in the Madura offshore block.

Qualification for Chief Drilling Engineer:

• Possesses an in-depth knowledge of HSEQ standards and best practices and able to apply this in an operational environment.
• Having Petroleum or other related Engineering Degree.
• More than 10 (ten) years experience in the Oil & Gas industry, including various experiences in offshore drilling, completion and workover activities.
• PM-Active, Self-starter, and innovative.

I myself have read huge of resumes that are riddled with typos, inconsistent such as – bullets in some places, dashes in others, bold in some headings, plain text in others, etc.

How to Create a Professional Resume.

The following guideline should help you to write a professional resume, but of course you need to learn more from other resources.

A. Make A Rough Resume Draft

• Type out a rough draft of your: past job or experience, education and any special skills that you have. This rough draft should list all the tasks and duties performed at every job title held. Each job should contain a 2-line summary describing your title and main duties. It should be followed with 3 to 4 1-line descriptions in a bulleted format. Old writer’s rule is – no more than 10 words per sentence. Take a note that a professional resume is clear and easy to follow.
• Tailor your resume to job description, if possible. Highlight matching skills and keywords but be honest! Most employers conduct background searches. In the last 3 years. Beside of that, I have noticed an increase in the use of background search firms by companies. Do not creating a fictional resume.
• Grammatically correct. You need to make sure your resume is grammatically correct–without typos and be sure to use correct contact information to make sure you get a response.
• Use plain white or beige stationary to create a professional resume. Keep resume to two pages to three pages maximum. Do not use personal or flowery stationary and silly fonts on your resume. Keep it as simple as possible!
• On a final note do not add references to your resume. References should be supplied on a separate reference sheet.

There are some type of resumes for you if you want to apply a certain job. All are depending on your personal circumstances, such as a chronological, a functional, combination, or a targeted resume format.
